محمد بن عبد الكريم بن أحمد بن طاهر أبو عبد الله بن أبي سعد الرازي الوزان الفقيه الشافعي تفقه على والده ثم على أبي بكر الخجندي، ثم جالس الشيخ أبا إسحاق الشيرازي وانتفع به، قال أبو سعد السمعاني: قد علينا مرو وناظر الحنيفة وظهر كلامه، وكان محققًا مدققًا قادرًا على التقدير، سمع ببغداد أبا الحسن ابن النقور، وبأصبهان المستظهري بن عبد الواحد المراني، وحدث وتوفي بالري في حدود سنة خمس وعشرين وخمس مائة ﵀.
