    ٢٤٩ - عمر بن عبد العزيز بن أحمد أبو طاهر الفاشانى. الفقيه تفقه على الشيخ أبى حامد، وكان بارعًا مؤرخًا متكلمًا، سمع الحديث، وعنه البغوى، ولد سنة خمس وثمانين وثلثمائة، وتوفى بمرو سنة ثلاث وستين وأربعمائة، وقبر بقريته فاشان وهى إحدى قرى مرو قاله ابن السمعانى.
