عبد الله بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد الكروني الأصبهاني أحد أئمة الشافعية، تفقه على أبي الطيب الطبري ببغداد، وسمع من أبي الحسين بن بشران، وهبة الله بن اللالكائي، وجماعة كثيرة، وعنه محمد بن عبد الواحد الدقاق، وغانم بن جلة، ومحمود بن أحمد الجبائي، قال السمعاني: توفي سنة نيف وستين وأربع مائة.
