الحسن بن الحسين أبو علي الخلعي الفقيه الشافعي والد القاضي أبي الحسن الخلعي وبإفادته لولده أدرك ولده سماعا عاليا، توفي بمصر، في شوال سنة ثمان وأربعين وأربع مائة. الحسين بن علي بن جعفر بن علكان ابن الأمير أبي دلفالعجلي أبو عبد الله الجرباذقاني، المعروف بابن ماكولا وهو عم الأمير أبي نصر مصنف الإكمال، قاضي القضاة ببغداد الشافعي، وَلِيَهَا سنة عشرين وأربع مائة، قال الخطيب: ولم نر قاضيا أعظم نزاهة منه، وكان عارفا بمذهب الشافعي، سمعته يقول: سمعت من أبي عبد الله بن منده بأصبهان، ولد سنة ثمان وستين وثلاث مائة، ومات في شوال سنة سبع وأربعين وأربع مائة وهو قاضي بغداد، ﵀.
