محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن الحسين أبو عمرو الرزجاهي ورزجاه، بضم الراء المهملة أولها، وقيل: بفتحها، قرية من قرى بسطام، وبسطام: من أعمال قومس. البسطامي الفقيه الشافعي الأديب المحدث. تفقه على الأستاذ أبي سهل الصعلوكي مدة، وكتب الكثير عن: ابن عدي، وأبي بكر الإسماعيلي، وأبي أحمد الغطريفي، وطبقتهم، وعنه: البيهقي، وأبو عبد الله الثقفي، وأبو سعيد بن أبي صادق، وآخرون، وكانت له حلقة بنيسابور، ومجلس لإملاء الحديث، والأدب، ثم انتقل إلى بلده بسطام، ومات بها في الربيع الأول سنة ست وعشرين وأربع مائة، عن خمس وثمانين سنة، ﵀.
