محمد بن محمد بن شاذة أبو الحسين الكرابيسي النيسابوري الفقيه الزاهد كان من أصحاب الشيخ أبي بكر بن إسحاق الضبعي، وسمع الحديث من: ابن خزيمة، وأبي العباس السراج، وروى عنه: الحاكم، وأرخ وذكر أنه كان يتجر ثم ترك ذلك، ولزم المجاورة بالجامع، فكانيصلي طول نهاره، ويصوم، ويفتي، وتوفي سنة ثنتين وسبعين وثلاث مائة.
