علي بن محمد بن إسحاق بن محمد بن يزيد القاضي أبو الحسن الحلبي، نزيل مصر، الفقيه الشافعي سمع جده، وعلي بن عبد الحميد الغضائري، ومحمد بن الربيع بن سليمان، ومحمد ابن نوح الجنديسابوري، وجماعة، وعنه: رشأ بن نظيف، وعبد الملك بن أبي عثمان الزاهد، وعبد الملك بن عمر البغدادي الرزاز، وجماعة، قال أبو عمرو الداني: روى عن ابن مجاهد كتاب الشفعة، هو، وشيخنا أبو مسلم، آخر من بقي من أصحاب ابن مجاهد، قال: وَعُمِّرَ أبو الحسن هذا عمرا طويلا، حتى نيف على عشرة ومائة فيما بلغني، وكانت وفاته في سنة ست وتسعين وثلاث مائة.
