    الأسود بن ربيعة بن الأسود اليشكري عداده في أعراب البصرة. أخبرنا محمد بن أبي عمرو البخاري، قال: حدثنا عمران بن موسى الجرجاني، قال: حدثنا محمد بن محمد بن مرزوق، قال: حدثنا حفص الطفاوي، قال: حدثنا الحارث بن عبيد الإيادي، قال: حدثني عباية، أو ابن عباية رجل من بني ثعلبة، عن أسود بن ربيعة بن أسود اليشكري: أن النبي ﷺ لما فتح مكة قام خطيبًا، فقال: ألا إن دماء الجاهلية وغيرها تحت قدمي، إلا السقاية والسدانة.
