إسماعيل بن عبد الواحد بن هشام الربعي المقدسي الشافعي ولي قضاء مصر، سنة إحدى وعشرين وثلاث مائة، ثم أصابه فالج، وتحول إلى الرملة، فمات بها سنة خمس وعشرين وثلاث مائة، وقال شيخنا أبو عبد الله الذهبي: وكان من كبار الشافعية، وكان جبارا ظلوما، فلم تطل ولايته.
