٣٤٧٥- يَعقُوب بْنُ القَعقاع بْن الأَعلَم، الأَزدِيُّ. ابْن عَمَّة (١) القاسم بْن الفَضل. مِن بني يَحيى بْن الحارث بن مالك، أَصلُهُ بَصرِيٌّ. سَمِعَ قَتادة. قَالَ لِي ابْنُ مُقاتِل: أَخبرنا عَبد اللهِ بْنُ المُبارك، قَالَ: أَخبرنا يَعقُوب بْنُ القَعقاع، عَنْ مَعرُوف بْنِ سَعد، سَمِعَ أَبَا الجَوزاء، قَالَ: كنتُ خَادِمَ ابْنِ عَبّاس سَبْعَ سِنِينَ، فَقَالَ: كُنتُ أُفتِي بِالصَّرفِ، حَتَّى أَخبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، وابنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنهُ، فَأَنا أَنهاكُم عَنهُ. يُقال: أَبو الحَسَن. قَاضِي مَرو أيام أَبي مُسلم، ثم عَزَله.
