    ١٠٥٣- لَيث بْن سَعد، أَبو الحارث، مَولَى فَهم، مِصرِيٌّ. قَالَ عَمرو بْن خَالِد: مات سَنَة خمس وسبعين ومئة. وقَالَ يَحيى بْن بُكَير: عَنِ اللَّيث، قَالَ: سَمِعتُ من ابن شِهاب سَنَة ثلاث عشرة ومئة بِمكَّة، وأنا ابْن عشرين سَنَة، ووُلِدَ سَنَة أربع وتسعين، لأربع عشرة مِن شَعبان، يوم الخميس، فاستكمل إحدى وثمانين سَنَة. ويُقال: مِن قَيس عَيلان.
