٣٠١١ - محمد بن كثير القرشي، الكوفيُّ، أبو إسحاق، سكن بغداد. • قال عبد الله بن أحمد: سألت أبي، عن محمد بن كثير، الذي يحدث عن ليث بن أبي سليم، والحارث بن حصيرة، فقال: خرقنا حديثه، ولم يرضه. «العلل» (٥٨٦٤) . • وقال الآجري: قلت لأبي داود: محمد بن كثير الذي يحدث عن ليث؟ قال: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل يقول: مزقنا حديثه. «سؤالات الآجري» ٥/ الورقة ٤٢.• وقال أبو داود: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل يقول: محمد بن كثير، الذي كان يكون ببغداد، ويحدث عن ليث، أحاديثه عن ليث كلها مقلوبة. «تاريخ بغداد» ٧/١٩٢ و١٩٣. • • •
