٢٣٠٤ - محمد بن الحسن بن هلال بن أبي زينب فيروز، أبو جعفر، أو أبو الحسن، لقبه: محبوب. • قال عبد الله بن أحمد: سألت يحيى، عن محبوب بن الحسن، الذي يحدث عن خالد الحذاء، قال: قد كتب عنه أصحاب الحديث، ليس به بأس. «العلل» (٤٠٣٦) . • وقال أبو داود: سمعت أحمد، قال: محبوب بن الحسن بن هلال بن أبي زينب يعني البصري. «سؤالاته» (١٣٣) . • وقال أبو داود: سمعت أحمد، قال: محبوب بن الحسن، كتبنا عنه، ما أراه إلا كان صدوقًا. وسمعت أحمد، وذكر مرة أخرى، فقال: ما أسوأ رأي البصريين فيه. «سؤالاته» (٥٢٥) . • • •
