    ٧٨٢ - ربيعة بن عمرو، ويقال: ابن الحارث، الدمشقي، وهو ربيعة بن الغاز، أبو الغاز الجرشي. • قال البخاري: قال أحمد: حدثنا سعيد بن أسد. قال: حدثنا ضمرة، عن السيباني؛ لما وقعت الفتنة قال الناس: ننظر إلى هؤلاء النفر فما صنعوا اقتدينا بهم، يزيد بن الأسود الجرشي، وابن نمران، وربيعة بن عمرو، فلحق يزيد بن الأسود بالساحل، وكان ربيعة بن عمرو مع الضحاك بن قيس الفهري فقتل، وكان ابن نمران مع مروان فسلم. «التاريخ الكبير» ٣/ (٩٦٣) . • • •
