    ٤٧٩ - حجاج بن يوسف بن أبي عقيل الثقفي، الأمير المشهور، الظالم المبير. • قال عبد الله بن أحمد: حدثني أبي قال: حددثني يحيى بن آدم بمكة، وابن عيينة حي. قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش، عن عاصم، عن أبي رزين. قال: إن كان الحجاج على هُدى، إني إذًا لفي ضلال مبين. «العلل» (١١٦٢) . • وقال عبد الله: وجدت في كتاب أبي بخط يده: حدثنا إبراهيم بن خالد. قال: أخبرني محمد بن ماهان. قال: قدم محمد بن يوسف صنعاء سنة ثنتين وسبعين. قال: ولم يكن ابن الزبير قتل، ثم قتل ابن الزبير فقطع الحجاج كفه، يعني كف ابن الزبير، وبعث بها إلى أخيه محمد بن يوسف. «العلل» (٤٧٦٤) . • • •
