    (٨٩٤) هبّار بن عقيل بن هبيرة الخِضْرمي: روى عن الزهري. روى عنه عبد الملك بن خصاف بن عبد الرحمن "نسخة". قال الدارقطني في "العلل": "حراني، حديثه مستقيم"، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات"، وقال الأمير ابن ماكولا: "قال أبو الحسن -يعني الدارقطني- هبّار بن عقيل بن هبيرة الحضرمي بحاء مهملة، وقال أبو محمد -يعني عبد الغني- هبّار بن عقيل الخِصرمي بخاء معجمة مكسورة، وقوله -يعني الحافظ عبد الغني- هو الأصوب" (٣).
