    ٣٦٦٧ - نباتة الوالبي، ويقال الجعفي، كوفي. • قال الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ: نباتة بن الجعد من جعفى. وقال الأصبغ بن نباتة يروي عن علي، ونباتة يروي عن عمر بن الخطاب، المحدثون يقولون بضم النون، وسمعت أبا بكر بن الأنباري يقول الأصبغ بن نباتة بفتح النون، وكذلك نباتة الجعفي عن عمر مثله. «تهذيب الكمال» ٢٩ (٦٣٧٦) .
