    ١١٦٣ - خالد بن يزيد، ويقال ابن أبي يزيد، وهو المشهور، ابن سمال بن رستم، الأموي، مولاهم، أبو عبد الرحيم الحراني. • قال الأزهري: أنبأنا أبو الحسن الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ، قال خالد بن أبي يزيد بن سمال بن رستم، نسبه لنا أبو بكر الأبهري، عن أبي عروبة. قاله باللام، وبفتح السين، وتشديد الميم. «تاريخ بغداد» ٨ ٢٩٤. • وقال الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ: أبو عبد الرحيم، خالد بن أبي يزيد بن سمال بن رستم، مولى عثمان بن عفان، روى عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة، نسبه لنا أبو بكر الأبهري، عن أبي عروبة، في «تاريخ الجزيرة» ، وهو خال محمد بن سلمة الحراني، أكثر روايته عن أبي عبد الرحيم خاله. «المؤتلف والمختلف» ٣ ١٢٤٢و١٢٤٣.
