    سنان بن ربيعة. حَدَّثَنَا ابن حماد، حَدَّثَنا العباس، عَن يَحْيى، قَالَ: سنان بْن ربيعة ليس هو بالقوي وقد روى عنه السهمي والسهمي هو عَبد اللَّهِ بْن بَكْر السهمي. أخبرنا الساجي، حَدَّثَنا أحمد بن عبدة، حَدَّثَنا حماد بن زيد، حَدَّثَنا سِنَانِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ شَهْر بْنِ حَوْشَب، عَن أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وسَلَّم قَال: الأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ. قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَهَذَا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ سنان حماد بْن زيد ويرويه عن شَهْر بْن حَوْشَب سنان بْن ربيعة ولسنان أحاديث قليلة وَأَرْجُو أَنَّهُ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ.
