    ١٣٦٩ - أبو الفضل الشقاني العباس بن أبي العباس أحمد بن محمد الشقاني أبو الفضل الفقيه المحدث الذي أنفق جميع عمره في الكتابة وصحبة الأكابر ولزوم المجالس والطوف على المشايخ صحب أبا عثمان الصابوني وسمع منه أكثر مجموعاته ومسموعاته وأماليه وصحب أبا القاسم وحضر مجالسه ودرسه وجمع مجالسه سمع الثانية كالنصروي وأبي بكر بن الحارث الأصبهاني وأبي عبد الله المزكي وأبي حسان ومنصور بن رامش والنيلي وطبقتهم وقرئ عليه الكثير وعاش عيش الصالحين توفي يوم الأحد التاسع والعشرين من ذي الحجة سنة ست وخمسمائة
