    ١٣٥٦ - أبو الهيثم القاضي عتبة بن خيثمة بن محمد بن حاتم بن خيثمة بن الحسن بن بن عوف بن حنظلة بن ملك بن زيد بن عمرو بن العنبر بن عميرة بن لام بن أوس التميمي النيسابوري القاضي الإمام أبو الهيثم أستاذ الفقهاء والقضاة من أصحاب أبي حنيفة عديم النظير في الفقه والتدريس تولى القضاء سنة إثنتين وتسعين وثلاثمائة إلى سنة خمس وأربعمائة فأجراه أحسن مجرى سمع من أستاذيه أبي العباس التبان وأبي الحسين قاضي الحرمين عن الأصم وأقرانه وسمع بالحجاز الديبلي وبالعراق أبا بكر الشافعي وقرئ عليه أكثر مسموعاته توفي في السادس عشر من جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وأربعمائة حدث عنه أبو بكر بن خلف الشيرازي وغيره
