    حُجْرُ الشَّرِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ مُرَّةَ بْنِ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْأَكْرَمِينَ، كَانَ شَرِيفًا، وَقَدْ وَفَدَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَسْلَمَ، وَإِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ حُجْرَ الشَّرِّ؛ لِأَنَّ حُجْرَ بْنَ الْأَدْبَرِ كَانَ يُسَمَّى حُجْرَ الْخَيْرِ , فَأَرَادُوا أَنْ يَفْصِلُوا بَيْنَهُمَا , وَكَانَ أَيْضًا شِرِّيرًا، وَكَانَ أَحَدَ الشُّهُودِ يَوْمَ الْحَكَمَيْنِ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ، وَوَلَّاهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَرْمِينِيَّةَ
