٤٢٩١- عبد الله بن أحمد بن أحمد بن أحمد [١] ، أبو محمد الخشاب [٢] . قرأ القرآن وسمع الحديث الكثير وقرأ منه ما لا يحصى وقرأ النحو واللغة وانتهى علمها إليه ومرض في شعبان هذه السنة نحو عشرين يوما فدخلت عليه في مرضه وقد يئس من نفسه فقال لي عند الله احتسبت نفسي. وتوفي يوم الجمعة ثالث [٣] رمضان وصلى عليه بباب جامع المنصور [٤] يوم السبت ودفن بمقبرة أحمد قريبا من بشر. وحدثني عبد الله الحياني العبد الصالح قال رأيته في النوم بعد موته بأيام ووجهه منير مضيء فقلت ما فعل الله بك؟ قال غفر لي، قلت وأدخلك الجنة؟ قال وأدخلني الجنة إلا أنه أعرض عني قلت أعرض عنك؟ قال: نعم وعن جماعة من العلماء تركوا العمل.
