ثم دخلت سنة ست وستين وخمسمائة فمن الحوادث فيها: أنه وقع حريق عظيم في درب المطبخ ثم في سويقة خرابة ابن جردة ثم أرجف على الخليفة بالمرض لانه انقطع عن الركوب ثم ركب وتصدق بالخبز والبقر وعملت دعوة في دار البدرية وخلعت الخلع وضربت الطبول للبشارة بسلامته وجاءت خرق البحر مع المكيين على عادتهم وبين يديها الطبول والهدايا ثم مرض المستنجد باللَّه فلما اشتد ٩٤/ ب مرضه/ كان الأتراك يحفظون البلد مديدة [١] ثم توفي ففتحت الحبوس وأخرج من فيها وما زالت الحمرة الكثيرة [عند مرض المستنجد] [٢] ترمي ضوءها [٣] على الحيطان مثل شعاع الشمس.
