٤٢٧١- محمد بن عبد الحميد بن الحسن [٥] ، أبو الفتح الرازي، المعروف: بالعلاء العالم [٦] . من أهل سمرقند كان فقيها فاضلا ومناظرا [٧] من الفحول وصنف التعليقة المعروفة بالعالمي ودخل بغداد وحضر مجلسي للوعظ. قال أبو سعد السمعاني كان مدمنا للخمر على ما سمعت فكان يقول ليس في الدنيا راحة إلا في شيئين كتاب أطالعه أو باطية من الخمر أشرب منها. قال المصنف ثم سمعت عنه أنه تنسك وترك المناظرة واشتغل بالخير إلى أن توفي.
