٤٢٤٢- حمزة بن علي بن طلحة، أبو الفتوح [٣] . روى عن أبي القاسم ابن بيان وولي حجبة الباب ثم المخزن وكان قريبا من المسترشد وولي المقتفي وهو على ذلك ثم بنى مدرسة إلى [جانب] [٤] داره ثم حج في تلك السنة ولبس القميص الفوط عند الكعبة وعاد متزهدا فأنشده أبو الحسين ابن الخل الشاعر: يا عضد الإسلام يا من سمت ... إلى العلى همته الفاخره كانت لك الدنيا فلم ترضها ... ملكا فأخلدت إلى الآخرة وانقطع في بيته نحوا من عشرين سنة وكان محترما في زمان عزله يغشاه أرباب الدولة وغيرهم. وتوفي في هذه السنة ودفن بتربة له في الحربية مقابلة لتربة أبي الحسن القزويني.
