٤١٦٧- عبد الملك بن أبي نضر بن عمر، أبو المعالي [٢] الجيلي: من [أهل] [٣] جيلان، تفقه على أسعد الميهني، وسمع الحديث، وكان فقيها صالحا دينا خيرا عاملا بعلمه، كثير التعبد، ليس له بيت يسكنه يبيت [في] [٣] أي مكان اتفق، كان يأوي في المساجد في الخرابات التي على شاطئ دجلة. حج في هذه [السنة] [٤] فأغارت العرب على الحاج فانصرف. وأقام بفيد، فتوفي بها في هذه السنة، وكان جماعة الفيديين يثنون عليه ويصفونه بالتورع والزهد.
