٤١٥٠-/ أحمد بن محمد بن المختار بن محمد بن عبد الواحد بن المؤيد باللَّه، أبو ٢٩/ أتمام ابن أبي العز المعروف بابن الخضر، أخو أبي الفضل المختار البغدادي: [١] خرج من بغداد للتجارة ودخل ما رواه النهر وركب البحر إلى الهند وكثر ماله وهو حريص على الزيادة وقد سمع أبا جعفر ابن المسلمة وأبا نصر الزينبي وغيرهما. وتوفي يوم الجمعة خامس ذي القعدة من هذه السنة بنيسابور ودفن بمقبره الغرباء خلف الجامع وكان ولده نصر الله إذا سئل عن سن أبيه يقول كان له مائة وثلاث سنين.
