٤١٣٦- أسعد بن عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عبد الصمد بن المهتدي باللَّه، أبو منصور [٢] : ولد سنة ثلاث أو أربع وثلاثين وأربعمائة، وسمع من طراد، وطاهر بن الحسين، وكان الناس يثنون عليه الخير وينسبونه إلى الصلاح، وقال: حملوني إلى أبي الحسن القزويني فمسح يده على رأسي فمذ ذلك الوقت إلى الآن أكثر من تسعين سنة ما أوجعني رأسي ولا اعتراني صداع. ورأيته أنا بعد هذا السن [الكبير] [٣] يمشي منتصب القامة [٤] . وتوفي في رمضان هذه السنة، ودفن في مقبرة جامع المنصور مقابل سكة الخرقي.
