٣٩٨٥- علي بن عبيد الله [٣] بن نصر بن السري الزاغوني، أبو الحسن [٤] : قرأ القرآن بالقراءات، وسمع الحديث الكثير من الصريفيني، وابن النقور، وابن المأمون، وغيرهم. وقرأ من كتب اللغة والنحو، وتفقه على يعقوب البرزباني، وكانمتفننا في علوم، مصنفا في الأصول والفروع، وأنشأ الخطب والوعظ، ووعظ، وصحبته زمانا فسمعت منه الحديث وعلقت عنه من الفقه والوعظ، وتوفي في يوم الأحد سابع عشر محرم هذه السنة وصلي عليه بجامع المنصور وجامع القصر، [١] ودفن بباب حرب، وكان جمع جنازته يفوق الإحصاء.
