٣٩٢٨- أحمد بن علي بن تركان، أبو الفتح، ويعرف بابن [٢] الحمامي: لأن أباه كان حماميا، وكان على مذهب أحمد بن حنبل، وصحب أبا الوفاء ابن ٩٦/ أعقيل، وكان بارعا في الفقه وأصوله، شديد الذكاء والفطنة، فنقم عليه أصحابنا أشياء لمتحتملها أخلاقهم الخشنة فانتقل وتفقه على الشاشي والغزالي، ووجد أصحاب الشافعي على أوفي ما يريده من الإكرام، ثم ترقى وجعلوه مدرسا للنظامية فوليها نحو شهر، وشهد عند الزينبي. وتوفي يوم الأربعاء سابع عشر جمادى الأولى، ودفن بباب أبرز.
