    ٣٨٧٧- أبو الفضل ابن الخازن [٣] : كان أديبا لطيفا ظريفا. أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَبْد اللَّه مُحَمَّد بْن علي الحراني، قال: حكى لي أبو الفتح بن زهمونة، قال: سافرت إلى أصبهان سنة ست وخمسمائة، فاتفق معي أبو الفضل ابن الخازن فقصدنا يوما دار شمس الحكماء أبي القاسم الأهوازي الطبيب لزيارته لمودة كانت بيننا، ولم يكن حاضرا. فدخلنا إلى حمام في الدار وخرجنا منه، فجلسنا في بستان فيها، فأنشدني الخازن ارتجالا: وافيت منزله فلم أر صاحبا ... إلا تلقاني بوجه ضاحك والبشر في وجه الغلام نتيجة ... لمقدمات ضياء وجه المالك ودخلت جنته وزرت جحيمه ... فشكرت رضوانا ورأفة مالك
