٣٨٣٨- علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن بيان أبو القاسم الوزان [٢] : ولد في ليله الاثنين ثالث عشر صفر سنة ثلاث عشرة وأربعمائة، وسمع أبا الحسن بن مخلد، وهو آخر من حدث عنه، وحدث عنه بجزء الحسن بن عرفة، وهو آخر من حدث بهذا الجزء، فألحق الصغار بالكبار، فكان يأخذ عنه دينارا من كل واحد،وسمع أبا القاسم بن بشران، وهو آخر من حدث عنه، وسمع خلقا كثيرا. وتوفي ليلة الأربعاء سادس شعبان، ودفن بمقبرة باب حرب.
