٣٨٢٧- علي بن محمد بن محمد بن جهير، أبو القاسم ويلقب بالزعيم [٥] : كان في أيام القائم وبعض أيام المقتدى متولى كتابة ديوان الزمام، ووزرللمستظهر نوبتين فبقى في الوزارة الأولى ثلاث سنين وخمسة أشهر وأياما، وولي بعده أبو المعالى بن المطلب ثم عزل، وأعيد الزعيم إلى الوزارة فأقام فيها خمس [١] سنين وخمسة أشهر إلى أن توفي المستظهر وتدرج في الولايات والمراتب خمسين سنة، وكان معروفا بالحلم والرزانة وجودة الرأي وحسن التدبير. وتوفي يوم الاثنين سابع عشرين ربيع الأول.
