٣٧٩٢- إِسْمَاعِيل بن محمد بن عبد الغافر، أبو عبد الله بن أبي الحسين الفارسي [٣] : من أهل نيسابور المحدث ابن المحدث، ولد سنة ثلاث وعشرين وأربعمائة، وسمع من أبي حسان المزكي وغيره. وقدم بغداد فسمع من ابن المهتدي، والجوهري، وأبي الغنائم ابن المأمون. روى عنه شيخنا البسطامي، وغيره. وتوفي في ذي القعدة من هذه السنة، وهو ابن إحدى وثمانين سنة.
