٣٦٤٢- علي بن هبة الله بن علي بن جعفر بن علي بن محمد بن دلف بن أبي دلف العجلي، أبو نصر بن ماكولا [٢] : ولد سنة اثنتين وأربعمائة، وكان حافظا للحديث، وصنف كتاب «المؤتلف والمختلف» فذكر فيه كتاب عبد الغني، وكتاب الدارقطني، والخطيب، وزاد عليهم زيادات كثير، وسماه: كتاب «الإكمال» وكان نحويا مبرزا [٣] ، غزل الشعر، فصيح العبارة، وسمع من أبي طالب. قال أبو طالب الطبري [٤] : وحدث كثيرا، وسمعت شيخنا عبد الوهاب يطعن فيدينه ويقول: العلم يحتاج إلى دين. وقتل في خوزستان في هذه السنة أو في السنة بعدها [٥] .
