٣٥٥٨- ختلغ بن كنتكين، أبو منصور أمير الحاج [١] . كان شجاعا، وله وقعات مع عرب البرية، وكانوا يخافونه، وكان حسن السيرة محافظا على الصلوات في جماعة، يختم القرآن كل يوم، ويختص به العلماء والقراء، وله آثار جميلة في المشاهد والمساجد والمصانع بين مكة والمدينة، ولبث في إمرة الحاج اثنتي عشرة سنة، توفي في يوم الخميس بين الظهر والعصر سابع جمادى الأولى من هذه السنة، فبلغ ذلك النظام فقال: مات ألف رجل.
