٣٤٨٦- سعد بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن الحسين [١] ، أبو القاسم الزنجاني [٢] : طاف البلاد، ولقي الشيوخ بمصر والشام والسواحل، وقرأ، وكان إماما حافظا ورعا متعبدا متقنا، وانقطع في آخر عمره بمكة، وكان الناس يتبركون به، فإذا خرج يطوف قبلوا يده [٣] أكثر مما يقبلون الحجر، وتوفي في هذه السنة بمكة [٤] . أنبأنا أبو زرعة طاهر بن محمد بن طاهر المقدسي، عن أبيه قَالَ: سمعت أبا عبد الله محمد بن أحمد الكوفي يقول: لما عزم سعد على الإقامة بمكة والمجاورة [٥] عزم على نفسه نيفا وعشرين عزيمة أنه يلزمها من المجاهدات والعبادات. ومات بعد ذلك بأربعين سنة، ولم يخل منها بعزيمة واحدة.
