٣١٢٠- محمد بن أحمد بن الحسين بن يحيى، أبو الفرج القاضي الشافعي يعرف بابن سميكة [٧] : حدث عن أبي بكر النجاد، وأبي علي بن الصواف، وحبيب بن الحسن القزاز، وغيرهم. أخبرنا القزاز، أخبرنا ابن ثابت الخطيب، قال: كتبنا عنه بانتقاء محمد بن أبي الفوارس، وكان ثقة، وتوفي يوم الثلاثاء، ودفن يوم الأربعاء لست خلون من [شهر] [٨] ربيع الأول سنة أربع عشرة وأربعمائة، ودفن في مقبرة باب حرب.
