٢٩٩٤- محمد [٨] بن أبي إسماعيل، واسمه على بن الحسين بن الحسن بن القاسم [أبو الحسن] العلويّ [٩] .ولد بهمذان ونشأ ببغداد وكتب الحديث عن جعفر الخلدي وغيره، وسمع بنيسابور من الأصم وغيره ودرس ببغداد، وكتب الحديث عن جعفر الخلدي [١] . ودرس فقه الشافعي عن أبي على بن أبي هريرة، وسافر إلى الشام، وصحب الصوفية وصار كبيرا فيهم، وحج مرات على الوحدة، وتوفي ببلخ في محرم هذه السنة.
