٢٥٩٠-/ علي [بن أَحْمَد] [٥] بن سهل، أبو الحسن البوشنجي [٦] . لقي أبا عثمان، وصحب ابن عطاء والجريري، وكان دينا متعمدا للفقر، وأسند الحديث، وتوفي في هذه السنة. أخبرنا ابن ناصر قَالَ: أخبرنا [٧] ابن خلف قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أبو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ [٨] السلمي قال: سمعت أبا العباس محمد بن الحسن البغدادي يقول: سألت أبا الحسن البوشنجي عن التصوف فقال: اسم ولا حقيقة، وقد كان قبل حقيقة ولا اسم.
