٢١٦٣-[عَلي] [٥] بْن سهل بْن الأزهر، أَبُو الحسن الأصبهاني [٦] : كَانَ من المترفين فتزهد، وَكَانَ يبقى الأيام لا يأكل، [وَكَانَ] [٧] يقول: استولى عَلي الشوق فألهاني عن الأكل. أَنْبَأَنَا/ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي [٨] ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الفضل الحداد، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نعيم الأصفهاني، قَالَ: سمعت أبي وغيره من أصحاب عَلي بْن سهل أنه كَانَ يقول: ليس موتي كموتكم إعلال وإسقام، إنما هو دعاء وإجابة، أدعى فأجيب وَكَانَ كما قَالَ، كَانَ يوما قاعدا في جماعة، فَقَالَ: لبيك، ووقع ميتا. وتوفي في هذه السنة.
