١٧٢١- يعقوب بن الليث الخارجي، المعروف: بالصفار [٢] . الذي ذكرنا له الوقعات، توفي بالأهواز في هذه السنة، فحمل تابوته إلى جنديسابور، وخلف في بيت ماله خمسين ألف ألف درهم، وألف ألف دينار، وكتب على قبره: هذا قبر يعقوب المسكين. وكتب على قبره: أحسنت ظنك بالأيام إذ حسنت ... ولم تخف سوء ما يأتي به القدر وسالمتك الليالي فاغتررت بها ... وعند صفو الليالي يحدث الكدر
