١٤٩٤- شعيب بْن سهل بْن كثير، أبو صالح الرازي، ويعرف بشعبوبة [٨] . حدث عن الصباح بْن محارب، وولاه المعتصم القضاء وجعل إليه الصلاة بالناس فِي مسجد الرصافة يوم الجمع [٩] والأعياد، وعلى قضاء القضاة يومئذ أحمد بْن أبي دؤاد، وَكَانَ شعيب قد كتب عَلَى مسجده: القرآن مخلوق وعزل عن القضاء سنة ثمَان وعشرين ومَائتين، وتوفي في هذه السنة.
