١٢١٥- علي بن الحسن [٥] بن شقيق بن محمد بن دينار، أبو عبد الرحمن العبدي [المروزي] [٦] . قدم بغداد، وحدث بها عن إبراهيم بن طهمان/ وإبراهيم بن سعد، وحماد بنزيد، وشريك، وسفيان بن عيينة، وعبد الله بن المبارك، وكان يحفظ كتب ابن المبارك وشاركه في كثير من رجاله. روى عنه: أحمد بن حنبل، ويحيى، وأبو خيثمة وكان جامعا. وتوفي بمرو في هذه السنة.
