٧٦٧- الْحَسَن بْن ثوبان بْن عامر، أَبُو ثوبان الهمداني الهوزني [١] . روى عَنْ موسى بْن وردان وغيره. حدث عنه حيوة بْن شريح، والليث بن سعد، وغيرهما. وكان أميرا على بعض الثغور فِي خلافة مروان بْن مُحَمَّد. قَالَ المفضل بْن فضالة: دخل علينا/ الْحَسَن بْن ثوبان يوما ونحن فِي المسجد ٤٤/ ب الجامع فوقف فسلّم ثُمَّ ذهب فجال فِي المسجد، ثُمَّ رجع إلينا، فقلنا لَهُ [٢] : يا أبا ثوبان، وقفت علينا ثُمَّ ذهبت ثُمَّ عدت فَقَالَ: إني طلبت من هو أربح لي منكم، فلم أجده. تُوُفِّيَ الْحَسَن فِي رَمَضَان هَذِهِ السنة.
