٦٩٨- يحيى بن أبي كثير، مولى طيِّئ، يكنى أبا نصر: أخبرنا محمد بن أبي القاسم بإسناد له عن أبي عمرو، عن يحيى بن أبي كثير، قال: ما صلح منطق رجل إلا عرفت ذلك في سائر عمله، ولا فسد منطقه إلا عرفت ذلك في سائر عمله. أسند يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أنس، وابن أبي أوفى وغيرهما من الصحابة. وتوفي في هذه السنة. وقيل: في سنة اثنتين وثلاثين.
