٦٩٢- حيي بن هانئ، أبو قبيل المعافري [٣] : قدم مصر في أيام معاوية، وغزا رودس مع جنادة بن أبي أمية، والمغرب مع حسان بن النعمان. روى عنه الليث، وابن لهيعة. سئل عن القدر، فقال: أنا في الإسلام أقدم منه، ودين أنا أقدم منه، لا خير فيه.وكان يلي شراء الشيء بنفسه من السوق، وكان يصوم الاثنين والخميس. وتوفي بالراس في هذه السنة.
