٦٦٤- مسلمة بن عبد الملك بن مروان، كنيته أبو سعيد [١] : كان شجاعا جوادا ذا رأي وحزم وفضل، وغزا غزوات، وكان حسن التدبير. قال: ما لمت نفسي على خطأ افتتحته بحزم، ولا حمدتها على صواب افتتحته بعجز. وإنما زوت عنه بنو أمية لأن أمه أم ولد. [توفي في هذه السنة] [٢] .
