٦٣١- قتادة بن دعامة، أبو الخطاب السدوسي [١] : أسند عن أنس، وعبد الله بن سرخس، وحنظلة الكاتب، وأبي الطفيل. وكان يرسل الحديث عن الشعبي ومجاهد، وسعيد بن جبير، وأبي قلابة، ولم يسمع منهم. وسأل سعيد بن المسيب وأكثر، فقال له: أكل ما سألتني عنه تحفظه؟ قال: نعم، سألتك عن كذا فقلت كذا، وعن كذا فقلت كذا. قال سعيد: ما ظننت أن الله خلق مثلك. وكان يقول: ما سمعت أذناي شيئا إلا وعاه قلبي. وروى شهاب بن [٢] خراش عن قتادة، قال: باب من العلم يحفظه الرجل يطلب به صلاح نفسه وصلاح الناس أفضل من عبادة حول كامل.
